UNIFORM

Every student must be in the class with proper uniform, maintaining strict personal hygiene and well groomed. Without uniform the students are allowed in the class in any circumstances.

In the theory classes the boys have to wear black trousers, white full sleeve shirt, black shoes with lace, black socks and black tie. In the cookery Practical Classes each students must have to wear white chef coat, white apron and white chef cap. Each student must carry a knife set during production practical. The Dress and tool kit for practical class only be supplied by the Institution after the Payment is made, the amount will announced after starting of the theory classes.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING & PLACEMENT

The students are required to undergo an industrial training in the courses. The training & placement will take place in renowned 5 star deluxe hotels & resorts in India & abroad i.e. Taj, Oberoi, ITC Sheraton, Holiday INN, Radisson, Hyatt, Marriot, Starwood, LTC Fortune, Quality Inn, Guest Line Days, Royal Caribbean Cruise, Le Meridian etc. which will arrange by the institution.

PROSPECTUS & FORM

Prospectus and Form are available on the payment of Rs. 300/- by Cash by M.O./D.D. drawn in favour of Midnapore Town “GOURAV INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE” payable at Midnapore.

ATTENDANCE

Every student is expected to attend both theory and lab sessions. In case of unavoidable circumstances, the problem should be discussed with the respective College.

Students must attend the lectures regularly. Students remaining absent for more than 4 days without notice in writing will be declared drop outs and their name will be stuck off the rolls. In such on event, o claim for refund of fee will be entertained.

PAYMENT OF TUITION AND EXAM. FEE

It is the responsibility of the students to pay their fee within the deadlines as communicated by the University. The fee has to be paid before the start of the semester as per the deadlines. Tuition fee and Exam fee has to be paid separately before the start of a session.

In case the student doesn’t pay the fee within the deadline, late fee will be charged as decision of the University. In case the student doesn’t pay the fee during the above mentioned period, the student will be deemed to have dropped the course & will not be allowed to continue the programme.

The fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for subsequent semesters.

The mode of payment shall only be Demand Draft in favour of Midnapore Town “Gourav Institute of Management Science’’ payable at Midnapore.
